Hôm nay, chúng ta sẽ cùng nhau học cách nói về một lễ hội ở Việt Nam mà em yêu thích nhất bằng tiếng Anh nhé. Đây là một chủ đề rất thú vị và giúp các em giới thiệu văn hóa Việt Nam đến bạn bè quốc tế!
Để có một bài nói thật hay và đầy đủ, các em cần chuẩn bị những thông tin sau:
1. Name of the festival: Tên lễ hội là gì? (Ví dụ: Tet Nguyen Dan, Mid-Autumn Festival, Hue Festival)
2. When it takes place: Lễ hội diễn ra khi nào? (Ví dụ: in late January or early February, on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, annually in April)
3. What it celebrates/means: Lễ hội này kỷ niệm điều gì hoặc có ý nghĩa gì? (Ví dụ: it celebrates the arrival of spring, it’s a time for family reunion, it honors heroes, it’s a traditional harvest festival)
4. Main activities: Có những hoạt động chính nào trong lễ hội? (Ví dụ: decorating houses, making Banh Chung, lion dances, watching fireworks, flying kites, singing folk songs)
5. Why you like it: Tại sao em lại thích lễ hội này nhất? (Ví dụ: I like it because I can get lucky money, I can spend time with my family, the atmosphere is joyful, I love the special food)

“Hello everyone! Today, I want to talk about my favorite festival in Vietnam, which is Tet Nguyen Dan, or Lunar New Year.
Tet is the most important and popular festival in our country. It usually takes place in late January or early February, depending on the lunar calendar.
This festival celebrates the arrival of spring and is a time for family reunion and new beginnings. It’s also a chance to show respect to ancestors and elders.
During Tet, there are many special activities. Families often clean and decorate their houses with colorful flowers like peach blossoms and kumquat trees. We make traditional foods like Banh Chung or Banh Tet. Children love Tet because they receive lucky money (li xi) from adults. We also visit our relatives and friends, and go to pagodas to pray for good luck.
I love Tet the most because it brings all my family members together. The atmosphere is always very joyful and cozy. It’s a wonderful time to relax, enjoy delicious food, and feel the warmth of family love. It’s truly an unforgettable time of the year for me.”

1. Practice speaking: Hãy luyện nói to và rõ ràng nhé.
2. Use simple sentences: Không cần dùng câu quá phức tạp đâu, cứ nói rõ ý là được.
3. Show your feelings: Khi nói về điều mình yêu thích, hãy thể hiện cảm xúc của mình qua giọng điệu và nét mặt nhé.
4. Prepare well: Chuẩn bị kỹ các ý và từ vựng trước khi nói.

My favorite festival in Vietnam is Hung Kings Commemoration Day. It is celebrated on the tenth day of the third lunar month every year. This festival is held to remember and honor the Hung Kings, who founded our country. On this day, many people visit Hung Temple in Phu Tho Province to offer incense and pray. There are also many interesting activities such as traditional games, folk performances, and lion dances. I like this festival best because it helps people remember their roots and feel proud of Vietnam’s history. It is a meaningful and special festival for me.

Lễ hội em thích nhất ở Việt Nam là Giỗ Tổ Hùng Vương. Lễ hội được tổ chức vào ngày mùng mười tháng ba âm lịch hằng năm. Lễ hội này được tổ chức để tưởng nhớ và tôn vinh các Vua Hùng, những người đã dựng nước. Vào ngày này, nhiều người đến Đền Hùng ở tỉnh Phú Thọ để dâng hương và cầu nguyện. Ngoài ra còn có nhiều hoạt động thú vị như trò chơi truyền thống, biểu diễn dân gian và múa lân. Em thích lễ hội này nhất vì nó giúp mọi người nhớ về cội nguồn và cảm thấy tự hào về lịch sử Việt Nam.
