1. Do you think humans will move to another planet in the future? Why?

Câu hỏi này yêu cầu các em đưa ra ý kiến cá nhân và giải thích lý do.

• Nếu “Yes”: Các em có thể nghĩ đến các lý do như: Trái Đất quá đông dân (overpopulation), tài nguyên cạn kiệt (dwindling resources), biến đổi khí hậu (climate change), hoặc mong muốn khám phá (desire for exploration).
• Nếu “No”: Các em có thể nói về những khó khăn như: Công nghệ chưa đủ phát triển (technology isn’t advanced enough), chi phí quá lớn (too expensive), môi trường khắc nghiệt trên hành tinh khác (harsh environments), hoặc chúng ta nên tập trung bảo vệ Trái Đất trước (focus on Earth’s preservation).

2. What will people do when there are no more spaces to live on Earth?

3. Do you think people will live on Mars/the Moon/the Sun in the year 2200? Why?

4. When people live on other planets, what do you think they will eat?

5. Do you believe that there are aliens on other planets? Why?

Đây là một câu hỏi mở về niềm tin.

• Nếu “Yes”: Vũ trụ quá rộng lớn (the universe is too vast), có hàng tỷ thiên hà và hành tinh (billions of galaxies and planets), vậy tại sao Trái Đất lại là nơi duy nhất có sự sống? (Why would Earth be the only place with life?).
• Nếu “No”: Chúng ta chưa có bằng chứng xác thực (no concrete evidence), hoặc điều kiện để sự sống hình thành và phát triển rất đặc biệt (conditions for life are very specific).

6. What do you think an alien will look like?

7&8. Do you think aliens will come to Earth in the future? If yes, what will they do? If no, why not?

Tiếp tục suy đoán về tương lai.

• Nếu “Yes”:
  • Hòa bình: Họ đến để khám phá (explore), nghiên cứu (study), giao tiếp (communicate), hoặc chia sẻ kiến thức (share knowledge).
  • Không hòa bình: Họ đến để xâm lược (invade), khai thác tài nguyên (exploit resources), hoặc tìm nơi trú ẩn mới (seek a new home).
• Nếu “No”:
  • Khoảng cách quá xa: Vũ trụ quá rộng lớn, việc di chuyển giữa các thiên hà là cực kỳ khó khăn (too vast, interstellar travel is difficult).

9 & 10. Have you ever seen a UFO/ an alien/ something strange or can’t be explained? What were you doing when it happened?

• Các em đang làm gì (eating dinner, walking in the park, looking at the sky)?
• Các em thấy gì (a strange light, a fast-moving object, a weird shadow)?

BÀI NÓI MẪU: LIFE ON OTHER PLANETS

Hello everyone! Today, I want to talk about a very exciting topic: Life on Other Planets. This subject always sparks my imagination, and I hope it does for you too!

First, let’s consider if humans will move to another planet in the future. I believe it’s very likely. Why? Because Earth is facing many challenges. We have a growing population, our resources are getting used up, and climate change is a serious threat. Moving to another planet might become a necessity for our survival, or simply a way to expand humanity’s reach. It’s a huge challenge, but human innovation is amazing!

So, what will people do when there’s no more space on Earth? Before moving to other planets, I imagine we would first try to live in more extreme conditions here. Perhaps we’d build massive underground cities or even floating cities on the oceans. Eventually, we would need to look to the stars, building large, self-sustaining space stations or even habitats on other celestial bodies.

Speaking of other celestial bodies, will people live on Mars or the Moon by the year 2200? I think small colonies or research bases on Mars and the Moon are very possible by then. We already have plans and technologies being developed for this. However, living on the Sun is absolutely impossible! It’s a burning star, far too hot and without a solid surface. Mars and the Moon are difficult enough, with challenges like radiation, lack of breathable air, and low gravity, but they are our most likely first steps.

When people do live on other planets, what will they eat? They won’t have typical farms. I believe they will rely on advanced technology like hydroponics and aeroponics to grow vegetables in controlled environments. They might also develop synthetic foods made in labs, and perhaps even grow nutrient-rich algae. Recycling everything, including nutrients, will be crucial for survival.

Now, let’s talk about aliens! Yes, I definitely believe there are aliens on other planets. The universe is so incredibly vast, with billions of galaxies and countless planets. To think that Earth is the only planet with life seems very unlikely. There must be other forms of life out there, perhaps very simple like bacteria, or even intelligent beings like us.

What would an alien look like? That’s fun to imagine! I think aliens could look very different depending on their home planet’s environment. Some might be humanoid, but with unique features like larger eyes or different skin colors. Others could be insectoid with multiple limbs, or even amorphous beings made of energy or liquid. Maybe they’ll have adaptations we can’t even dream of, like glowing bodies or the ability to change shape!

Will aliens come to Earth in the future? I think it’s possible, but perhaps not in the way we see in movies. If they do come, I hope it’s for peaceful reasons, like exploration, scientific study, or to communicate with us. They might want to learn about our planet and our civilization. However, it’s also possible they won’t come because the distances are simply too immense, or they might have a policy of not interfering with less developed civilizations like ours.

Finally, have I ever seen a UFO or something strange? Well, I haven’t seen an alien, but I once saw a very unusual light in the sky when I was a teenager. I was sitting on my balcony, looking at the stars, and suddenly a light appeared. It moved in a way that no airplane or helicopter could, changing direction very quickly and then disappearing in an instant. I don’t know what it was, but it was certainly something unexplained and very memorable!

Thank you for listening. This topic truly makes us think about our place in the universe and the endless possibilities that lie ahead!
