BÀI THUYẾT TRÌNH: HOW TO BE A SMART TOURIST
Hello, my wonderful students! My name is Ms. Anh, and I’m so excited to talk about something that makes our hearts sing: traveling!
Imagine this: You’re going on an amazing trip! You’re going to see new places, maybe try new food, and make fantastic memories. Sounds wonderful, right? But how can we make sure every trip is not just fun, but also smart and safe? That’s what we’re here to learn today! We’ll discover “How to Be a Smart Tourist!”
Being a smart tourist means you travel with your eyes wide open and your heart full of curiosity, but also with a little bit of planning and care. Let’s look at a few simple, easy-to-remember tips!
Tip 1: Plan a Little Bit!
Before you even leave your house, it’s great to know a few things. You don’t need to plan every single minute, but a little bit of knowledge goes a long way!
What to do:
- Know where you are going. Look at a map!
- Know the name of your hotel or guesthouse (if you’re staying somewhere).
- Maybe learn a few simple words like “Hello” and “Thank you” in the local language. It’s super fun and makes people smile!
Why it’s smart: It helps you feel more confident and excited! Imagine the thrill of knowing exactly where your adventure begins. It’s like knowing the first step of a treasure hunt!
Tip 2: Be Safe, Be Sound!
Your safety is the most important thing when you travel. We want you to come back with happy memories, not worries!
What to do:
- Always stay with your family or group. Don’t wander off alone.
- Keep your important things, like your small bag or wallet, close to you.
- Know your parents’ phone number or the hotel’s address. It’s like having a secret superpower!
Why it’s smart: Because being safe means you can truly relax and enjoy every moment. We want you to explore the world freely, knowing you’re looking out for yourself.
Tip 3: Respect the Place and People!
When you visit a new place, it’s like being a guest in someone’s home. We want to be a good guest, right?
What to do:
- Be polite and kind to everyone you meet. A smile can go a long way!
- Try to understand and respect local customs. For example, in some places, you might need to take off your shoes before entering a temple.
- And please, please, please: Don’t litter! Keep nature and cities clean. Put your trash in a bin.
Why it’s smart: When you show respect, people are happy to share their culture and their beautiful home with you. It makes the world a better, friendlier place for everyone!
Tip 4: Be Open-Minded and Try New Things!
Travel is all about discovery! It’s your chance to see the world with new eyes and an open heart.
What to do:
- Try a new food (if your parents say it’s okay!). Maybe it will become your new favorite!
- Listen to local music.
- Observe the beautiful scenery and the unique buildings.
- Ask questions (politely, of course!) if you’re curious about something.
Why it’s smart: Every new experience is a treasure! It makes your trip much more exciting and helps you learn so much about the world and yourself. You grow with every new thing you try!
So, my dear students, to be a smart tourist, remember these four simple things: Plan a little, Be safe, Respect the place, and Try new things!
If you remember these tips, you’ll have the most amazing adventures, make wonderful memories, and be a great guest to our beautiful world. Let’s all be amazing explorers, full of joy and respect, making every trip a story to tell!
Thank you for listening! Do you have any questions?

\(->\) Today I want to talk about how to become a smart tourist. For me, traveling is not just about taking pictures or checking in at famous places. It’s about feelings , that feeling of discovering something new, and respecting where you go. A smart tourist understands that.
First, before going somewhere, we should learn a little about that place. Just some simple things like culture or basic rules. It shows respect, and it helps us feel more connected, not like strangers.Second, we should protect the environment. Don’t throw trash anywhere, don’t harm the nature. Because those beautiful places we enjoy today wass all effort of other people were creating it. Last but not least, you should be kind. A smile, a small thank you, or just being polite can make a big difference. Sometimes, the best memories don’t come from places, but from people.
So, being a smart tourist is not something big or difficult. It’s just about being aware, respectful, and kind. Thank you for listening…
